Vision Statement

“Carein' Connections Unlimited (CCU) was founded in 2003 as a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation with the vision to provide healthcare, assistance, and alternative therapeutic interventions to those less fortunate in the world. We have programs both here and abroad that will make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of people that need our help. ”

Domestic Programs

Care On WheelsCarein' Connection’s street outreach program provides a mobile medical unit that is used by Chicago Recovery Alliance and Rush Medical Center to provide free health care to the homeless of Chicago. .

Arena Of DreamsA dream is defined as, to imagine as possible. That is the true definition of this Arena. In the summer of 2008 we opened our doors and have helped over 25 special needs adults and children experience the healing power of therapuetic horseback riding.
We have also partnered with Special Olympics to host a Day of Sports, Chicago Eagles ran a soccer camp for special needs, and Best Buddies from Benedictine University enjoyed a get away weekend.
We will be offering aquatic therapy this summer to assist in the mobility of special needs individuals.

Mary Ellen's Birthday Parties   CCU also provides free Birthday Parties on our St. Charles site to economically challenged families of children between the ages of four and six years old.
  • The  birthday child and their parent will have the opportunity to choose from a selection of favorite party themes, cakes, balloons and a wishlist for a special birthday gift.
  • An age appropriate craft may be selected by the birthday child along with a list of four or five of their favorite friends that they would like included in the party fun.
  • Goody bags will be provided as a reminder of the fun party!
